About this event
This program provides an introduction to sailing. We will review types of boats, basics of sailboat rigging, basics of sailing, and safety practices. Weather permitting, we will have some on-the-water sailing with CLSA members. This will be a two-day event on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Participants should bring notepad and paper, clothes appropriate for the day's weather, and closed-toe shoes that they can wear on a boat. We will be sailing in the afternoon.
Class starts at 9:00 AM with indoor sessions until approximately 1:00 pm, and ends around 4:00 in the afternoon. Class then resumes indoors from 9-12 on Sunday.
We will take a lunch break around noon on Saturday, please bring your own lunch and drinks.

Follow signs off of OH-730 to South Shore Marina. Turn right at top of hill into CLSA driveway.
